White Label SEO Resellers: What Are They?

SEO stands for search engine optimization, and it's a system that you use to make sure your content is as friendly for search engines as possible, making the engines see your content as keyword rich and helpful so that you get pushed up closer to the top of the search queue. Now, since SEO is not a skill that can be learned overnight it's not uncommon for people to hire another company for their SEO needs. Without even knowing, you might employ a SEO reseller to provide you SEO services, which, if you don’t know they are a SEO reseller, you have hired a white-label SEO reseller.

But what is an SEO reseller, and what does white-label SEO refer to? Well, an SEO reseller is a company that doesn't actually provide SEO services, but it has connections to professionals that it can outsource search engine optimization work to. However, in order for an SEO reseller to be considered white-label, they act as the middle man in this SEO trade without the customer actually knowing that the SEO reseller isn't doing the work in-house.

On the one hand, not informing clients that the SEO work is being outsourced can make an SEO Reseller look bad, and even underhanded in their business dealings, but if this has happened to you, there really is nothing to worry about at all. On the other hand though, this saves the client the time and trouble of trying to find their own SEO experts and taking a risk that the person they find might not be as professional as they want. It is in the best interests of every SEO reseller, white-label and not, to provide good SEO services and to be sure that the work gets done to the customers' satisfaction so that word can spread and more business is forthcoming. This means that an SEO reseller is likely to screen its pool of potential employees very hard to weed out anyone that can't get the job done to a certain standard.

Often you can find out if a reseller is a White Label SEO company by asking some pointed questions. If you want specifics on what's going to be done with your content, or if you want to know the name and location of the professional that's going to be handling your SEO services then you need to watch how the company responds to those requests. Alternatively though, if a company can't tell you how it plans to help you, then you probably shouldn't give them your money until it can provide you with a concrete list of services that it can provide you.
